Dino Lucarelli partners with companies on financial and organizational matters in a variety of business planning, growth related, or capital raising transactions. In addition to working on issues such as financial and human capital planning, he is experienced in valuations, capital raising and debt restructuring to preserve or enhance value for shareholders. Frequently his work involves an acquisition or divestiture negotiation. He has several years experience in establishing rigor and integrity within the financial practices, reporting, internal control, and cash control processes for growing organizations. With over 20 years experience in large and small, public and private companies, Dino has an extensive history of directing and restructuring organizations to profitability. Past clients include River Cities Capital Funds, Ascendum Solutions LLC, Levitz Furniture, Hilltop Research, Custom Design Benefits, Unifund Inc., Bowlin Group LLC, Parker Marketing Research, among others.
He has been an adjunct finance professor in Xavier University’s MBA program since 2000, teaching Private Company Sale and Valuation, Mergers and Acquisitions, and Corporate Finance.
He was awarded 'CFO of the Year' honors by the Cincinnati Business Courier for 2010 for his work for a particular client. He serves as Treasurer and board member for, and is the past Chair of, the United Coalition for Animals (UCAN), a Cincinnati-based non-profit group promoting solutions to animal overpopulation. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Northern Kentucky University in 1983, and resides in northern Kentucky with his wife Loretta and three children. He is a graduate of Covington Latin School, Class of 1975.
Sheela Bhaskar, MBA ’13, has been an associate at Lucarelli Tactical Group since 2013 after taking Dino Lucarelli’s Business and Valuation class at Xavier University. She specializes in developing organic growth plans, tactical restructuring strategies, and business valuations. Previously, she worked at the Ritz Carlton Hotel Company, the Cincinnatian Hotel, Fidelity Investments, and Sony BMG. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Administration at Boston University in 2008 and her Masters in Business Administration at Xavier University in 2013. She is a native Cincinnati and graduated from Cincinnati Country Day School in 2005.
Loretta Lucarelli performs accounting and bookkeeping, cash management, invoicing, accounts payable, and account reconciliation services for clients. Additionally, she manages the back office functions for Lucarelli Tactical Group. Her background includes customer service management roles in banking and retail organizations, and earlier in her career she successfully founded, operated, and sold a Bridal/Custom Sewing/Alterations business in the Cincinnati area.
In service to clients of the Lucarelli Tactical Group, she performs detailed as well as summary level monthly closings and financial statement creation, encompassing internal and external reporting and cash flow analyses.
Her educational background includes concentration in accounting and management classes at Northern Kentucky University.
